VE Qualification Completed
Once I received my Amateur Extra credentials, I downloaded the ARRL VE qualification package and reviewed the manual. The ARRL VE process requires you to complete a lengthy form, which ensures that you actually read and understood the manual, which makes sense if you're going to be giving exams. It wasn't difficult, and took me just a few hours.
My qualification certificate and my VE badge came in the mail quickly, probably less than three weeks. I'm qualified! Now, to attend a test session and observe. I've finally joined the local club here, and I'm slated to observe the next Technician exam in April.

Been Off The Air...
With the recent blizzards, I picked up a very nasty virus that had me laid low for the last six weeks. I lost my voice, and I had very little energy. Ham Radio wasn't high on the priority list, so I've been off the air recovering.
But, I'm back! Hopefully you'll see me on PSK-31 on 20 meters, sooner than later!
